The Vampiric Artwork of Chad Savage
by Father on Aug.27, 2009, under General Vampire News
Dark artist Chad Savage, who has been providing art, graphic and web design work to the vampire subculture since the 1980′s, has opened his own Etsy.com shop, where he will be selling original vampiric artwork that he’s created over the last 20 years. Many of these one of a kind drawings were used on magazines, book covers and as book illustrations over the last two decades.
If you’d like to own a small piece of undead history, head over to http://ChadSavage.etsy.com. Check back daily, as Savage plans to dig up, scan and post drawings that haven’t seen the light of day (appropriately enough) for over 10 years. New artwork will be added every day or so.

Group Hotel?
by Lady A on Aug.05, 2009, under Updates and Announcements
Some of you have been asking about a group hotel room rate like we had last year. Unfortunately, because of the Voodoo Music Fest and a ton of other events happening on Halloween weekend, the hotels aren’t really offering much of a group discount because they know they can book the rooms at regular price. Call it New Orleans charm. You’d be better off going to Hotels.com or some similar site to get a decent deal. The Prince Conti even has a AAA rate if you are a member. You can also check the forums for a comprehensive list of tried and true hotels that people are recommending. At any rate you should be able to find a good place to stay.
