Legendary Hollywood makeup artist Ve Neill is the Guest of Honor at the Los Angeles Vampire Ball 2026

Ve Neill is an Academy Award–winning makeup artist and character designer whose work has defined modern cinematic transformation. She will hosts the Los Angeles Vampire Ball 2026 at the Balasco Theatre in downtown LA.

Over a career spanning four decades, she has been honored with three Oscars for Makeup and Hairstyling- Beetlejuice (1988), Mrs. Doubtfire (1993), and Ed Wood (1994)—as well as multiple Emmy Awards and professional guild honors. She is also noted s the creator of the makeup for the epic vampire film the Lost Boys.

Renowned for her ability to fuse technical mastery with narrative storytelling, Neill has collaborated extensively with visionary directors such as Tim Burton, helping to create some of the most iconic characters in film history, including Edward Scissorhands, Beetlejuice, and the inhabitants of Ed Wood.
